Crowds flocked to beaches, rivers, and events across Ireland during the August bank holiday weekend. Portmarnock and Killiney were filled with bathers, while cruise boats sailed along the Shannon. The Montstown Dún Laoghaire Dog Show drew animal lovers, and preparations were underway at the RDS for the Dublin Horse Show. Roads, trains, and buses were packed as people enjoyed the fine weather.
