Recipe:
6 to 8 King Oyster Mushrooms
3 tablespoons of white truffle oil
1 freshly squeezed lemon
1 garlic bulb
1 bunch of thyme
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
A splash of your favorite white wine
Directions:
Step 1: Wipe mushrooms with a damp cloth and cut off the top (cap) and end of each mushroom, then slice into 3/4 inch pieces.
Step 2: Mince the bulb of garlic and set aside.
Step 3: Heat skillet to medium high heat, add 3 tablespoons of white truffle oil, add the mushrooms and season with salt, pepper then add the 1 bunch of thyme. After 5 to 10 minutes flip mushroom or wait until golden brown, same for each side.
Step 4: After both sides are golden brown, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, garlic and the splash of wine, let simmer for a few minutes.
Step 5: Put oven safe skillet/pan in the oven on a low broil for 5 to 10 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender to the touch.
Step 6: Eat and enjoy with your favorite side dish!
