Before you can place your patient on Intravenous (IV) Fluids, you will need to prepare the fluids. This video focuses on preparing the IV fluid bag and the administration set. IV fluid pumps can vary a bit in their set-up, so I demonstrate how to load the line into the pump we have at school (keep in mind there is a diagram on the side of the pump).
