What does a 40 day old wolf pup dream about? Your guess is as good as ours. Kathryn finds a pup in a box, and the pups are really enjoying their days outside in their enclosure which now has a pool. Nathan and Monique hand feed balls of ground carnivore meat, as the pups transition to solid food. The smallest pup has been named Devra, in honor of Dr. Devra Kleiman, a pioneering research biologist and student of Dr. Klinghammer. She is making progress, eating well, and even grabbing the other pups by the tail.
The Wolf/Bison Demonstration features Ayla and Renki, who romp in the tall grass, creating some confusion in the bison herd. The vegetation allows the wolves to appear and disappear around the herd, but the bison group together more tightly and the wolves once again go home unlucky.
