The Hansen Dam (Moderne architecture) was constructed in 1939 to have flood control and was completed in 1940.
I hiked on the paved Hansen Dam Trail (~2.5 miles) and enjoyed the views of Angeles National Forest, San Fernando Valley, and 210 Freeway in a distance. It was scenic and relaxing, because there weren't many people on this trail. I'll have to explore other trails within the Hansen Dam Park in the future.
