Hello!
In this video i do a major upgrade on my Bachmann NRM 66779 ‘evening star’ to bring it up to date for 2021 standards!
We fit new lighting PCBs from Illuminated Models
Loksound V5 21 pin decoder
EM1 & Iphone speaker combo
LegomanBiffo’s latest sound project
And ive even done the bell!
All in all, this really brings the Bachmann model in line with the Hattons example and stops it from looking out of place.

Please note - i wouldnt reccomend wiring your speakers in parallel like i have, its out of the reccomended decoder specs.
Its at your own risk if you choose to do so.
The safer way is to wire them in series, although a bit quieter.
