Fukuda Rando: Tabibito no uta (Song of the Pilgrim)
During the summer of 2024 we made the pilgrimage to the 34 Zen Buddhist temples of Chichibu Fudasho, dedicated to Kannon. The continuous prayer, the devotion, Fukuda Rando's expressive "Song of the Pilgrim", the Zen gardens, the monks, the temples, the landscapes, everything has been permeated by a deep gratitude for the possibility of deepening this inner path.
Pilgrimage promotes Peace, the dissolution of time, trust, acceptance. And the Kanzeon verse "eternity, emptiness, joy, purity" becomes incredibly palpable.
