Residents of Bududa district particularly in the Sub counties of Busiriwa, Bumwalukani, Nabweya, Bushika and Kikhoolo town council among others are in tears after heavy rains accompanied by hailstones destroyed to their crop gardens yesterday evening.
The rains that lasted for only one hour left so many crops including coffee, Beans, Bananas, potatoes among others destroyed.
According to the farmers we spoke to, looming hunger and poverty awaits them if the government does come to their rescue.
