The Greek-English New Testament, THGNT/ESV

A video review of The Greek-English New Testament, Tyndale House/English Standard Version (ISBN: 9781433570926).

This volume is a black hardback with a slipcase. It presents the Greek text from the Tyndale House Greek New Testament (THGNT) on the left-hand page and the English Standard Version (ESV) on the right. The print is sharp and dark. The font size in both the THGNT and the ESV is around 9.5 points. The text is laid out in a single-column format, divided into paragraphs. The ESV includes section headings, while the THGNT does not.

The New Testament books are arranged with James and 1 and 2 Peter following Acts, as in the THGNT.

The paper is reasonably opaque, and even though the text is not line-matched, ghosting is not an issue. I estimate the paper weight at 55 gsm. The paper is nearly white, having a very light cream tinge. Specular reflection is minimal.

The text block is sewn. The words of Christ are in black ink.
