MetroTV, The body of an Indonesian migrant worker from Malang Regency who died in a fire at the Wang Fuk Court apartment complex in Tai Po, Hong Kong, arrived in Indonesia on Tuesday.
Footage shows an ambulance arriving at the victim’s family home, where relatives gathered to receive the body of the 37-year-old woman, identified as Erawati. Her husband and family members expressed relief and gratitude following the repatriation process.
According to officials from the Ministry for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (KP2MI), the repatriation of victims from the Hong Kong fire incident was carried out in stages over several days, with multiple bodies returned to different regions across Indonesia.
