Managing Perimenopause Symptoms: 90 Days on Low-Dose Birth Control | Perimenopause Symptoms Update

In this video, I'm sharing my update on my Perimenopause management journey. After 90 days of treating perimenopause with low-dose birth control, many women report significant improvements in their symptoms. Common issues like irregular periods, hot flashes, and mood swings often become more manageable, with many experiencing more regular menstrual cycles and a reduction in the intensity and frequency of hot flashes. The hormonal balance provided by low-dose birth control can also help stabilize mood, alleviating feelings of anxiety or depression that often accompany perimenopause. However, as with any treatment, individual responses vary, and some women may still experience side effects such as headaches or bloating. It’s crucial to maintain regular follow-ups with a healthcare provider to monitor the treatment’s effectiveness and make any necessary adjustments.
