Day 22 – Kruger National Park! Ep 562

Yet another amazing day was spent in the Kruger National Park. The cool, overcast weather made our journey even more comfortable. We started with an early morning drive for an update on the hippo carcass before returning to camp for a delicious breakfast. Later, during our drive, we spotted a stunning Bateleur perched in a tree, reminding us why it remains one of our favourite birds of prey. We also witnessed extraordinary behaviour from two Ground Hornbills, seemingly attacking bushes, flying around and jumping up and down, very different from the usual demeanour we've seen before. Back at camp in the evening, we enjoyed leftover potjie before calling it a day.
