Every asana has a key alignment and an aim.
In position A, the alignment of this pose is to have the legs straight and the spine long.
The aim of this pose is to work the top of the head towards the floor and in line with the legs.
For B position, the alignment remains the same and the aim is to bring the elbows in the same line with the shoulders. This is a great shoulder opener.
