Snowboarding Pioneer Rides Again on Two Knee Replacements from Denver Health
Bob Klein is one of the innovators or pioneers in the world of snowboarding, having helped introduce the sport to the world in the 1980's. Now that he's in his 60's he's still almost as active, but found himself with knee problems that were preventing him from doing the twists and turns on the slopes he was used to.
Klein came to the Denver Health Orthopedic Center of Excellence in 2023 for a total knee replacement surgery on his right knee and again in 2024 for the same surgery on his left knee. Now he shreds almost as good as he did 40 years ago.
