Last October, Associate Professor of Education Rachel Wahl delivered a Learning Together Lunch Hour presentation on "Navigating Difficult Conversations." Professor Wahl shared her research on political discussions between college students of different partisan convictions. From this research, she presented several key guidelines for Jewish Studies professors to use when engaging difficult and contentious material in their classrooms.
The Learning Together Lunch Hour Series offers a supportive environment for students and professors to learn about the history, context, and global response to the Hamas attacks on Israel and the ensuing war in Palestine.
