Castle Calahorra - surprising truth about Granada province's Hidden Gems. 4K Walk tour.

Dominating the city, the Castle of La Calahorra, perfectly preserved, is an outstanding work of the Italian Renaissance dating back to 1509.

In its basements there are still the dungeons where the Moorish prisoners who were transferred to the Granada chancellery spent the night.

Declared a National Monument, it is currently in private hands, although its interior can be visited by contacting the person in charge that the owners have in La Calahorra.
