Keystone Resort is already skiing top-to-bottom for early season 2025, and it’s one of the most reliable places in Colorado to get your first real laps of winter.
In this video, I cover what the mountain looks like right now — from terrain layout to lift access and early-season snow quality. The resort currently offers nearly 2,300 vertical feet of continuous skiing from the Summit House down to River Run Village, with Schoolmarm, Silver Spoon, and Ina’s Way forming the main top-to-bottom route. These runs are fully groomed, wide, and perfect for early-season carving.
I also made the short hike to the early-season park near the Ranger Lift, where Keystone’s park crew is starting to shape the first boxes and rails of the season. Coverage is solid, snowmaking is running daily, and the mountain feels like midwinter already. The Summit House is open if you need a quick warm-up or break between laps.
If you’re considering skiing Keystone soon, this video gives a full look at current terrain, snow conditions, lift operations, and overall early-season vibes. Keystone continues to deliver some of the best early-season vertical in Colorado.
