This week we take a look at the Abandoned Canal that set to change the way frieght was carried from the south coast to London. Lord Egremont's grand idea to help change the face of historical transportation here in the south was not the first failure to foresee the coming of the railways and perhaps more important overstate the amount of demand. the Portsmouth and Arundel Canal.
