This video is the fourth shot at my home gym. I’ve been training at home since I moved house on 16th December 2014 and have been doing a four way split which is as follows:
Chest & Back
Legs
Shoulders & Arms
Deadlifts & Traps
The workout in this video is as follows:
Jones squats
Ab wheel roll-outs
Stiff leg trap bar deadlifts
Jones calf raises
Dumbbell deadlifts
The length of the workout was 11:46. I don’t have any heart rate data for this workout as I forgot to start my watch. My body weight was 88.5kg (194.7 pounds).
Since I started this four way split, I’ve introduced an element of randomness into the workouts in terms of exercise selection, exercise order and the use of intensifiers. I’ve also increased the volume and frequency compared with my previous routines and have stopped measuring TUL. At the time this video was shot, I was training twice a week with each workout lasting somewhere between 8 and 20 minutes. If I find that the increased volume and frequency are having no positive effect, I’ll re-evaluate my approach and adjust these factors accordingly.
