Adjusting the air flow is the quickest way to remove black smoke from your combustion process. Black smoke is typically caused by one thing: Not enough air in primary chamber to allow complete combustion. Adjust the air supply first, if this doesn't clear smoke, then you are loading too much waste into the chamber.
