Birmingham, England. 5x Escalator ride at Bullring Shopping Centre - Outside Selfridges Store

We take a POV ride on 5x individual escalators at the Bullring Shopping Mall in Birmingham City Centre. These are at one of 2 ends - this side being outside the big Selfridges Department store (which has 12x 2002 Kone escalators - definitely the best in this mall!!) and the exit to the side which is close to Birmingham Moor Street Railway Station. 4x of these are the original 2002 OTIS Escalators - type 506 NCE but the last ones have been replaced by ThyssenKrupp escalators (Tugela) - this was since 2019 when I visited last. As you can see with one being broken, you wonder why. They don’t seem any better or more reliable than the Otis escalators at all, nor do they look as nice…
