Today’s feature is one of the best examples what can happen as an artist when you don’t quite understand what you’re jumping into armed with only talent and a need to change your circumstances. Nowadays there’s much more information being shared with one another, so at least artist are, or should be aware of the pitfalls to look out for, but back in the mid 2000s and pretty much throughout that decade, many artist were going into the business of music with their face against the wall, arms out, in submission to be taken for everything they had and even will accumulate in the future. If everything from Juiceman’s account of how his career fell off is 100% accurate, then his story is beyond unfortunate, unable to claim rights to his songs for the remainder of his natural life, and 10 years after he dies.
