When NOT to pronounce the 'r' consonant: Improve your speech FAST
Thdere are seven sounds which appear to contain an 'r' sound, but in reality the 'r' is silent most of the time. Here they are, in no particular order, with examples:
ɪə near, clear, dear
eə air, care, fair
ɑː far, bar, park
ɔː four, more, door
ʊə cure, pure, sure
ɜː were, word, work
ə water, wonder, remember
