A Cycling Expedition on the Pamir Mountain along the Silk Road in Tajikistan. We have traveled along the Tajikistan-Afghanistan border beside the Panj River. We cycled through Wakhan River Valley, Pamir Highway (M41), Tanymas River Valley, and Bartang River Valley. Italian Traveler Marco Polo and Chinese Buddhist Monk Hiuen Tsang (Xuanzang) also traveled by this route. We visited historical places such as Castle Karon, Kah Kha Fortress, Abrashim Qala, Yamchun Fortress, Ratm Fortress, Savnob Fortress, and Langar Petroglyphs. We also visited Bulungkul Lake and Karakul Lake. We enjoyed the hospitality of the Pamiri people and their culture.
