"PAN PAN PAN! We've lost electrical power!!. Buckle in Charlie Brown!!"
In this second of our C-560XL ELECTRICAL STYSTEMS tutorials we continue to explore what the jets' Emergency battery, and the subset of Emergency Instruments, can provide the pilot in the case of an Electrical failure to get the jet on the ground safely.
Since we are all used to a fully functioning and brilliantly 3D lighted normal panel, the panel on Emergency Battery can look pretty scary and intimidating at night; (no fake 2D PhotoShop images, only real 3D lights in this aircraft). But fear not, this aircraft is completely flyable and controllable in that state, and we demonstrate a night landing on these instruments!
Don't miss viewing the previous Tutorial 2.4.1 to learn the proper procedures to access the Emergency battery, and why just-flipping-things-around is a path that leads to frustration!
It is critical to know how the electrical systems work, and what to do in emergencies to be well set-up for later, more advanced "Flight Series" tutorials, so you we can fly the aircraft flawlessly, day or night, in any weather!
If you have been following our guidance to watch these tutorials in their numbered order, by now you will begin to see familiar patterns of the aircraft's industry-leading 3D lighting, superior real-world recorded FMOD sounds, and also see its strong attention to object detail, advanced 3D shading, authentic labeling, matching coloring, and texturing detail throughout this tutorial.
