This is a video of a Triumph Spitifire or MG Midget 1500. It has been completely rebuilt from the bottom up. The crankshaft has been turned and new oversized bearings installed. It has new flat top pistons, 270 duration cam, double timing chain and sprockets, valve guides, rocker shaft, tappets, seals and gaskets. The valves have been ground and the head was shaved to achieve 9.6:1 compression. The compression numbers were as follows: #1- 200, #2- 180, #3- 210, #4- 205.
