Welcome to the Slow Flowers WORLDWIDE Summit -- 2026 Announcement

SEATTLE, WA (September 2, 2025) -- Debra Prinzing, founder and creative director of Slow Flowers LLC, announced dates for the 2026 Slow Flowers Worldwide Summit.

The Worldwide Summit will take place over two days in the New Year – held online January 30-31, 2026. “Get ready for the conference that has been called ‘The TED Talk for Flower Lovers’ and a ‘Floral Mind-Meld’ This online conference promises to give our attendees a jolt of inspiration for the New Year and new floral season,” Prinzing added.

The program format includes 10 floral education sessions led by sustainable floral leaders, as well as bonus content from special guest presenters.

“Our goal is to keep the Slow Flowers Summit as an inclusive, accessible, and affordable conference, without the added cost of travel and lodging,” Prinzing says. Slow Flowers Society has partnered with The Great Grow Along to produce the Slow Flowers Worldwide Summit. The Great Grow Along is the largest virtual consumer garden show in the world, with an established platform for online gatherings serving horticulture professionals and consumers.

Prinzing debuted the Slow Flowers Summit in 2017 as an in-person complement to other Slow Flowers’ programming. “The Summit is designed for floral professionals working in all facets of the floral marketplace – from the seed to the bouquet,” she says. "The Slow Flowers Movement has been emulated around the world – and emerging groups are eager for access to the same innovation, information, and inclusive approaches enjoyed by our members, but specialized for their own markets. The Slow Flowers Worldwide Summit is designed to provide inspiration for flower farmers, floral designers, and flower lovers, wherever they are based.”
