Jalari Lakshmi Narasimha temple Jalari Lakshmi Narasimha temple, located 7 km north-west of Chikkaballapur, Karnataka, is an ancient cave temple. The cave is located on the slopes of a hillock; a flight of steps from the parking area leads us up to the cave.

The environ is calm and serene. One could visit Rangasthala Ranganatha temple too, which is 8 km away from here. There are two temples one on the hill top Bhoga laksmi Narasimha which was installed by saptarishis and in down hill in caves Jwala Yoga Narasimha which is said to be uthbavamurthi.

Saptarishis were worshipping for long years for Lord Vishnu’s dharshan but he did not give dharshan during that time, but when Lord Narasimha killed Hiranyakashipu, he gave dharshan to saptarishis and as per the request for saptarishis lord himself appeared as uthbavamurthi. Its believed most powerful god among the villagers as their wishes were fulfilled by the god.

On every full moon day there is special pooja’s on hill top devotees stay at night in hill top temple and offer prayers to the god. Beautiful temple near Hill side. Lot of monkeys. On the way good farm lands and hill side. Try to be in evening, you will certainly enjoy more. Very silent & calm place.
