Fire Kills Three in Tainan's Yongkang｜20220912 PTS English News公視英語新聞

A residential fire was reported in Tainan's Yongkang District on the evening of Sept. 11. The fire left killed three people, including a couple and their granddaughter. A second granddaughter managed to escape. The Fire Bureau says the fire may have been caused by a hot plate plugged into an extension cord.

台南市永康區昨天傍晚發生民宅大火，造成祖孫一共三人不幸死亡，只有17歲的孫女順利逃出，消防局初步研判，可能是在使用電烤盤時，把電線插在延長線上，導致電力負荷過載引發大火，加上一樓堆放大量雜物，火勢才會一發不可收拾。
