They Scammed Me on Xbox, I Serve Them Justice. This scam is one of the first ones ever since the release of Grow a Garden. It’s called the Middleman Scam. Other scams are the typical dupe scams and luckily, no one fell for them. I was the only person that got interested in these posts. These scammers think they’ll score an easy item from an innocent player but they’ll just score a talk with a third party moderator that knows quite a bit about these scams, to help protect the Xbox community. I end up getting all my rare pets back only to lose them because I gave them away to my subscribers that were scammed, because scammers are the most likely to say “NGF” or “Not Going First.”

In the Xbox Looking for Groups for Roblox, thousands of players look for other players to make a legitimate trade. Thousands of other players only use it to scam other people as well. In this scam, this was the Middleman Scam. The Middleman Scam is designed to work as a legitimate trade. The scammer gives the middleman an item, and the other player gives the middleman an item. From there, the middleman has both items and supposed to give the item to each player. But in many cases, the middleman can be friends with the  scammer. And in this scam, the middleman was friends with the scammer. I looked at the scammer’s friend list and saw that he was friends with the middleman so it wasn’t hard to figure that out.

The middleman felt bad and gave me some stuff but that was not the deal. So I eventually got the scammer back into a server and got my refund, as well as getting him to gift some stuff to random players. Along the way, I found dupe scammers. Duping has been patched in Grow a Garden but this doesn’t stop the scammers. One of the dupe scammers got scammed right in front of me which was hilarious to see. My intervention was not needed and looks like karma came back for the scammer. Another dupe scammer kicked me out because he knew I was a YouTuber. But that doesn’t change the fact that he was still a scammer so I figured sharing my encounter with the dupe scammer was important for the video.

After all that, I gifted some players some pets since they claimed they were scammed on Grow a Garden. After that, I found another dupe scammer. This dupe scammer had a change of heart and admitted to me that he was a scammer but didn’t want to scam me because I was too nice. So maybe scammers have a heart after all. Regardless of that fact, I had the scammer give away over twenty of his pets to random players. While I was dealing with the dupe scammer, a random scammer thought he was a smooth criminal because he ran off with my item. However, I gave that item to him for free to show him I’m legitimate and don’t want him to get scammed. In other words, the scammer used my kindness against me and thought he was slick.
