When they act unethically and harm us, we MAY have some recourse... LEGAL MALPRACTICE.
But who wants to sue their lawyer, on top of having to sue their employer? Here, prevention is our best strategy. This video includes 3 of the most troublesome attorney complaints that I've heard from viewers of the channel & how I avoided them.
Problems like these are rare, but they CAN happen. It helps to be aware, and have a plan for partnering with our attorney to keep our case on track.
Contract Clauses to Look For:
-Unilateral Withdrawal Clauses - Check the conditions for using these and if you have concerns, discuss it with them before your sign.
-Non-Compliance Termination Clauses - These allow them to terminate their representation is we dont' take advice they consider reasonable. Worth discussing ahead of time.
