This afternoon we’re strolling Seoul's Samcheong-dong, the neighbourhood that hugs the east wall of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Samcheong-dong balances quiet alleyways with a surprising amount of culture. Hanok-style cafés and teahouses hide behind stone walls, while small galleries, design shops, and modern museums line the main road.
Compared to Seochon on the palace’s west side, Samcheong-dong feels a touch more polished and upscale, making it one of favourite hang-out areas for Seoulites of all ages and backgrounds.
