Drill Stopper Jig | Making a Depth Adjustable Stopper in 3/64" (1mm) increments (subtitled)

Make a simple drill stopper jig. The depth can be adjusted in 3/64" (1mm) increments, making counterbore, countersink and blind hole work accurate and easier. There were many issues with commercially available drill stoppers. Most of this happens by installing a stopper on the drill bit. So I decided to make a simple stopper that is independent from the bit.

For commercially available drill stoppers
The bit may get scored by the setscrew...
Require for each bit diameter...
The rotating stopper may leave marks on the material...
And it takes time to adjust the depth accurately.

You can overcome the above problem by making your own drill stopper that does not attach to the bit. Moreover, the depth can be adjusted easily and reliably, so there is no need to worry about setting the depth every time you use it. Just take out the jig and drill a hole. This jig was designed for people who don't have a drill press, but even if you have one I think it will come in handy in situations where you can't use a drill press.
