The Eastern Cape government has condemned the boxing day prison violence at St Albans in Port Elizabeth. The fatal brawl between prisoners and guards left 3 dead. Over twenty others including five officials were injured. On Tuesday, National Comminisioner Zach Modise announced an internal inquiry into the incident.
