Fast Train Appears Out Of Nowhere! CSX Under Bridge, Norfolk Southern Over Bridge, Railroad Radio

CSX Trains Working Upgrade Under Norfolk Southern Bridge With Heavy Trains. Listen To The Locomotives Working! Norfolk Southern Trains Suddenly Appear Crossing Steel Bridge Speeding In A Hurry. Train Horn Salute Behind Oldest House In The City. 5 CSX & Norfolk Southern Trains In Kentucky.
A couple new views of heavy trains in one of the best train viewing areas in the state. I got some interesting angles by doing a lot of walking and getting a couple ticks on me. Three different angles around the almost hundred year old bridge. Two Heavy CSX trains working upgrade right under me and two fast Norfolk Southern trains speeding over the bridge. The first train just seems to appear out of nowhere. Which angle is your favorite?
We also see a CSX auto racks train in the "S" curves approaching the oldest house in Walton, Kentucky. The engineer gave me a short horn salute which was pretty cool. We also hear railroad radio audio from the CSX defect detector for two of the trains. The Norfolk Southern defect detector doesn't give the length and axle count so I didn't include it.
Check out the opening view of the 1926 bridge. That is a great shot. A southbound train was lined up and only a few miles away. I was going to film the train crossing the bridge with that aerial view but the automobile traffic was crazy. It was rush hour and it was just too noisy for me. There is plenty of room to film from up there but at certain times of the day the traffic is so heavy that you might not even hear much of the train. A few vehicles passed me with modified exhaust and a semi truck went by doing a Jake Brake so I left just minutes before the train got there. Maybe some day I will film from there when the traffic isn't so heavy and I have ear protection.
