I installed YellowSpeed Racing calipers and discs (Big Brake Kit) on my 2006 Rav4, Gen3 about 6 years ago. I use my Rav4 for off roading and take it regularly into the High Sierra with a full load. The stock brakes used to overheat and fade, which felt very dangerous to me. These YSR big brakes have never overheated or warped. Instead they seem to work better after heating up a bit, with great feel. In this video I review how to change the pads and the brake fluid as well as the brake bedding procedure.
