In this song: The scripture references are actually within the lyrical content on this one which I
try to do as much as the song will allow... Church Song is a reminder "to self" that God is everywhere! Even on the plumbing isle in Home Depot... In our area the typical "western traditional worship" pattern is expressed creatively... Wedding ceremonies, baptisms, and Easter sunrise services are the norm... We have miles of pristine Atlantic Ocean coastline to utilize... The offsite locations I describe in the outro all exist... They are legit ! The Auto Mall, Middle School, Pizza Place etc, are all places where we have had "church"... Service at the county jail was a regular thing, also at the Federal Prison. This song is "not" a blanket smack at Organized Religion at large... It is a wake up call that the pre-packaging and production schemes to promote a church show has taken on an alternative experience of it's own...
