Chili cheese dog casserole 🥘🤤

Hello 🤗 friends and family 😊❤️ today we're going to make a quick and easy chili cheese dog casserole. It's a nice twist on regular chili cheese dogs. Let's get started...
Ingredients:
2 cans of chili with beans (any brand)
1 package of hot dogs, chopped into bite size pieces
6 pieces of cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
2 boxes of Jiffy cornbread mix
2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk
1/2 cup of shredded cheese for Jiffy mixture+ 1 1/2 cups for top
1 cup of crushed chips for Jiffy mixture+ more for the top
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a medium size bowl. Once combined well,set aside.
Next, add the cans of beans to the bottom of a greased 9x13 casserole dish. I cut the hot dogs lengthwise but not all the way through. I placed them under the broiler for 5-8 minutes until it gets a good crisp on it.(this is optional, you don't have to do anything to the hot dogs). I chopped up the whole package of broiled hot dogs and added it on top of the chili layer. next add half a cup of cheese, then pour on your Jiffy mix. place in the preheated oven at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes. you will know it's done when it comes out cleaning the center. remove from the oven and we have a couple of more steps. now we are going to add our bacon bits, more shredded chips and the rest of the shredded cheese is our top layer. put it back in the oven for about another 10 minutes until the cheese is nice and melted. after 10 minutes bring it out and eat it like you would a normal chili cheese dog.
