Cumbria's Museum of Military Life organise an annual Military Festival in Carlisle Castle, we went along in our 1959 Daimler Ferret armoured scout car, this is the journey there, mostly cruising along at 35-40 MPH.
First stop was at Bigrigg, not very far but a chance to check that everything was working as it should.
Everything was fine, so we continued for another 25 miles or so and stopped in a layby to eat sarnies and let things cool down a bit.
Next stop was Carlisle Castle!
