Mysore travel series Mysore palace Palace elephants Episode 6

In this episode of our Mysore travel series, we will take you to the ruling ground of Madiyar dynasty of Mysore. It is a magnificent space based out at the heart of Mysore, spanning over 70 hectare. The construction for this palace completed in 1912 but the expansion continued till late 1930s. Major attraction of this place are the ancient artefacts, exotic interior designed in Indo- saracenic style, Royal amber, which is a 750 kg Palki decorated in 80 kg solid gold.
