CLASS A MOTORHOME SUSPENSION UPGRADES [NOT SO CHEAP HANDLING FIX]

Most Class A motorhome owners with the F53 chassis have heard of the "Cheap Handling Fix", but have you ever wondered what it really takes to make a gas Class A coach ride better?

In this video I show you upgrades to the Ford F53 chassis on our 2008 Winnebago Class A motorhome. First I installed a set of Sumo Springs followed by Koni FSD shocks on all four corners, but I still wasn't completely happy with the ride quality. To get rid of the excess body-roll I installed front and rear Roadmaster Anti-sway bars. To eliminate most of the "tail wag" I installed an Ultratrac rear track bar. One of the key components to help reduce rut tracking and pushing by the wind is the Safe T Plus Steering Stabilizer.

All of the F53 chassis suspension upgrades really made a huge different in how the coach handles. It's a pleasure to drive now and driver fatigue and white knuckles are a thing of the past thanks to quality products from Sumo Springs, Roadmaster, Koni and Safe T Plus.
