Here's a better way to do navigation for RTS in Godot, with a simpler and faster system we can easily navigate units without worrying about FPS, thanks to Godot's access to it's navigation server we can use it to compute a simple path along a navigation mesh using it's RID, this navigation method surely is more ideal than using navigation agents due to the perfomance cost and the amount of units we want,
This is also useful for other project as a faster navigation system can be useful for many different games or simulations, this tutorial is easy to follow and should help beginners due to the simplicity of the code, everything will be explained as well and hopefully you can use it for your own projects,
This is a much better approach than previously with the physics system, as tradeoffs we loose the built in navigation avoidance, but gain a lot of perfomance from the simpler calculations, which is ideal for our project type, an RTS.
