I’m officially on the move again 🚐This video marks the start of my 3-month winter travels in the EU as I take the ferry from the UK and cross over into France.
I show the full ferry journey, including the check-in process, what customs are actually like, and what happens on the other side with French customs when you're travelling with a cat.
Once over, I find a quiet spot to park up in a local fisheries car park, right at the base of a castle ruin. From there, I head out to explore the château, wander the town, and soak in that first-day-in-France feeling.
No rush. No itinerary. Just the start of winter van life on the road.
