I’m prepping our weekly high-protein egg bakes, chia seed pudding for easy toddler snacks, and pork sausage for quick breakfasts and lunches. For dinners, we’re making homemade spaghetti with my mom’s meat sauce, crispy baked chicken thighs, slow-cooker beef bourguignon, homemade biscuits, and other cozy, budget-friendly meals using ingredients you likely already have.

Homemade meat sauce:
1 lb. hamburger or italian sausage
1 can tomato paste or sauce
1 32oz can crushed tomatoes
2 garlic cloves minced
1 ½ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
¼ tsp. Italian seasoning
2 Tbs. parsley

2 lbs chicken thighs
-2 tsp baking powder
-2 tsp salt
-1 tsp black pepper
