A hike out to Ledwith Prairie or Ledwith Lake.
Right off the bat I was finding wildlife. Deer were hanging out around the entrance. After filming them I took the horse trail into the preserve. I did that so I could take the boardwalk back, at the end of the day. No need to retread ground. My route explored the west and middle of the park but I didn't go out to the east where the white blazes are. Another day perhaps.
I found more deer as the day went on as well as pigs, turkey, insects, birds of prey, and a few types of lizards.
Song birds were also out in abundance but I only got a few on camera.
During my hike I came across an artistic metal bridge over Still Branch Creek. Very interesting given it's location. It was not near the entrance at all. After the bridge the trail got narrower, into single track. That's fun to walk on but I typically find less critters in that circumstance.
