Starting off my prep for my first ever powerlifting competition with a focused squat and bench press session.
Squat:
Top set: 113kg x5 @RPE 6
Back-offs: 102.5kg 3x5
Bench Press (Tempo Paused):
Top single: 78kg
Back-offs: 68kg 3x5
This session includes a detailed breakdown of training intent, movement execution, RPE assessment, and how these lifts fit into my overall meet prep strategy. I'm sharing insights into how I’m managing volume, intensity, and technique refinement heading into my first platform experience.
