This is a new addition to the Sam Morex Mechcanical Music collection.
This is my souvenir River Belle music box. This was something my Mom found on a trip to the thrift store. These wooden collectible items were manufactured in the early 1980s by the George Good Corp. So no, it isn't a very early antique and isn't as rare as some stuff I have but it does play "Dixie", a popular old tune from the civil war days. Also pardon the mess is the background, my collection is still under preparation and instruments are still being moved around and work is still being done to hang some lamps and pictures on the wall.
