Was riding my bike home and saw a bunch of carp schooled up on the surface. Quickly got home and grabbed my rod before heading back for a few casts.
I haven't fished for carp much before, however sight fishing any species of fish is always exciting. I think I will be tying some carp flies in the near future.
In true aussie form I love the fact that a random guy walking by offers to grab the fish for me, then the tradie driving past wants to know what fish I hooked.
