This morning marks the end of a nearly three-year journey through the book of Romans. We have called this series “Masterclass” because it truly is a Masterclass in both the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how to reason logically about it in an unbelieving world.
This week we will consider one of the highest purposes for which sound doctrine exists – to help us see God more clearly so that we might praise more passionately. We have walked with the apostle Paul through 426 verses, and they have led us to this amazing expression of praise to our God.
Doctrine, rightly understood, should always produce praise in the heart of the disciple as we respond, in awe and wonder, to Jesus the Christ of God and the Savior of sinners.
