Starting the 2nd of three life-saving treatments for ASMD!!!

THIS HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING!!!

I am still in shock that we have finally started this treatment. I just hope we can make up for lost time - less than 24 hours after this video was filmed and the editing almost completed, we took Damian to the ER, and I'm actually uploading this from the hospital room where we've spent the last couple days. But Damian is on the mend, and I am so so so ready for this new treatment (Enzyme Replacement Therapy, or ERT) to start helping us keep Damian out of the ER for normal everyday viruses like the flu or a cold.

THANK YOU all so much for supporting us through the crazy drama that went down to finally get access to this treatment. I'll never go down without a fight and I am PUMPED that we finally won this one. Mama's got you, sweet Damian.
